SpotFacts is a student project by Rahaman Walter Dongmepi Wendji. In this policy, "we", "us", refers to the project administrator and we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data when you sign up for our waitlist.

2. What Data We Collect

When you use our "Request Access" form, we collect the following personal data:

• Full Name
• Email Address

3. Why We Collect It (Purpose)

We collect this data for the sole purpose of:

• Notifying you when the application launches or when beta access is available.

4. Legal Basis

We process your data based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (Consent). By checking the box on our Waitlist form, you explicitly agree to this processing. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us.

5. Third-Party Services (Processors)

We use trusted third-party providers to operate this service. We have Data Processing Agreements (DPA) with them to ensure your data is safe.

• Hosting & Infrastructure: Contabo GmbH (Germany). We rent a Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosted in Germany to run our website and backend.
• Database & Auth: Supabase Inc. (USA/Global). Used to store user data securely. Our database region is configured to EU (Central).
• Deployment Management: Coolify. A self-hosted tool running on our Contabo server to manage deployments. No data is sent to Coolify's creators; it is strictly a management interface under our control.
• Email Delivery: ZeptoMail (Zoho Corporation). Used to send transactional confirmation emails.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics software (like Google Analytics) on this landing page. We only use strictly necessary technical data (local storage or session cookies) to ensure the website functions correctly.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request that we delete your data (Right to be Forgotten).
• Correct any inaccurate data.
